Ricardo Cox who was shot dead in Mitcham Road, West Croydon, on November 26, 2008.
Police have announced a £20,000 reward in the run up to the first anniversary of the death of murder victim Ricardo Cox.
The 20-year-old died after being shot twice in the upper body in Mitcham Road, West Croydon, at around 9.20pm on November 26, 2008.
Ricardo had been walking home with his brother, Oniel, when a stolen black Honda Civic pulled up alongside them and a number of shots were fired.
The gunman was sat in the front passenger seat and used what is believed to be a distinctive .22 calibre firearm, possibly a revolver, to kill Ricardo.
Police have said that Ricardo was a victim of mistaken identity and was caught up in what is believed to have been a gangland feud.
DCI Damian Allain, of the homicide and serious crime command, said: "We are one year on from the murder of Ricardo Cox and I am still in no doubt that there are people within the community who have information that could help our investigation."
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses and have secured a £20,000 reward for anyone who provides information that leads to a conviction.
