£20k reward offered by police investigating Thornton Heath murder
A REWARD of £20,000 has been offered to help track down the killers of a man gunned down as he tried to protect his wife.
Carlton Ned, 41, was shot as he tried to shield his partner from two armed men who had burst into his home during the early hours of July 1 last year.
Neighbour Peter Mason, 67, fought to save Mr Ned's life, only for the salesman to die before paramedics arrived.
Eight people have been arrested since the murder, but no one has been charged.
