Fans of Asian classical music can see some of the genre's top artists performing on the ARCC Classical Stage at the Mela.

The programme has been arranged by Asian Music Circuit.

Bireswar Gautam

One of the most exciting rising stars of Asian classical music, Bireswar Gautam is a baithak thumri performer.

This style of music means he sings as well as does abhinaya, kathak dance which focuses on mime.

He's trained with some of the greats in these styles of performance, including with his father, the late Sailen Pal.

Hanna Manila

Dancer Hanna performs the North Indian dancing style kathak with musicians on sarod and tabla.

Hanna has trained in both India and London and performed at lots of big festivals and venues including the National Theatre and Trafalgar Square.

Mehboob Nadeem

Mehboob Nadeem is one of Britain's best sitar players and has taken his unique and inspiring performances to India, Africa and Europe.

Mehboob is the grandson of the legendary Ustad Vilayat Hussain Khan (Pranpiya) and Gayan Samrat Ustad Azmat Hussain Khan (Dilrang).

Dylon

Young saxophonist Dylon is a fantastic young talent in the National South Asian Youth Music Orchestra.

He'll be playing with Jankan Sri Rangam on mridangam at the Mela.
