Premier Division
Addinton United's winning streak continued with a 2-1 victory over AFC Thornton.
All the goals came in the first half with Addington taking an early lead when a looping cross beat the keeper for K Reynolds to head backwards into the open goal.
Thornton equalised 10 minutes later when Julian Van-Gelder headed home a Sean Scott free-kick.
However, Addington retook the lead through B Saunders after Thornton failed to clear a cross from the right.
T Chamki and L Ruzaird got the goals as Thornton Rovers beat RFTS Croydon Athletico 2-1.
Golden Lion lost 2-1 at home to Frinton Rovers, T Fennessey scoring their consolation goal.
Division One
Goodfellas were on the goal trail smashing AFC Thornton Heath 11-1.
Goodfellas even managed to score all the goals as it was their own goal which went on the score sheet for Thornton.
Golden Lion Reserves just squeezed passed CR Glaxay winning 4-3 in this see-saw of a game.
The Lions looked comfortable as they took a two-goal lead through B Chincara and L Johnson, but Glaxay hit back with three goals of their own.
Lions had the final word, however. J Ward equalised and D Gredig got the winner.
Division Two
Banter went into their game with Croydon Postal off the back of two wins and with some confidence.
Unfortunately that confidence and desire did not materialise and Croydon Postal controlled the game for long spells throughout.
Postal took the lead with a bizarre lob from P Thomas which found the net even though the Banter keeper was standing on his line.
Banter were unable to convert their chances which followed and Croydon doubled their lead when a Banter defender was punished for trying some fancy footwork in his own area, lost the ball which resulted in S Worley shooting into the bottom corner of the net.
Banter came out stronger in the second half, playing football and working better as a team and were rewarded with a goal from T Warburton, who controlled the ball well and thundered it into the net.
Banter lifted their game again searching for the equaliser, but squandered their best chance when a back pass was chased down by T Warburton, who watched his attempt roll the wrong side of the post.
From the resulting goal kick, the ball went long was flicked on and got his second at the near post to put Postal 3-1 up.
Banter tried hard to regain ground and with 10 minutes to go Warburton again chased down another wayward pass, took a strike at goal which the keeper parried back towards him to enable the rebound to be swept into the net for his second goal of the game.
Banter pressurised Croydon's defence for the final 10 minutes looking for the equaliser which failed to materialise
Portland won their first game this season beating Carlton United 5-2.
Ben Mankelow scored twice and Deke Adams and Phil Broughton were also on target with an own goal completing the scoring.
M Dejemal and S Loader replied for Carlton.
Matt Ovenden opened the scoring for Real Madras against Sovereign who fought back though R Brestol and A Dunn to go in at half-time with a 2-1 lead.
Two second half goals from T Lloyd capped a strong second-half performance which helped Real secure a 3-2 win as Sovereign failed to make the most of the other chances that came their way.
Division Three
Croydon Independiente secured a 6-2 win over Purley Phoenix A thanks to goals from B Brett, D Lee (2), T McDaid, M Murrayand S Tyler.
J Leavy and J Sharrad got the consolation goals for Purley.
M Torrao (2) and D Ward were on target for Croydon City they were beaten 5-3 by Green Phoenix Eagles.
A Berry, L Cole and J Parsooramen got the goals as AFC Rio overcame Maple Tree 3-2, M Parker and J Young replying for Maple Tree.
Division Four
Forum Flyers gained their first points in a month after beating rivals Croydon Corporation 4-2.
Lee Alphonso, Bobby Fisher, Arron Heartfield and Daryl Hood were the goal scorers but the whole team were nominated with the star player award for this win.
N Kwami and M Whitehead got the goals for Croydon.
Athletico Croydon were also among the goals beating Oakfield Manor B 4-2.
B Samuels scored twice and D Norman and P Samuels got the others. A Hersey and B Lettman replied for Oakfield.
Honours even in the match between Barracuda and Ashburton Wanderers which ended in a 3-3 draw.
Deon Newby put Barracuda into an early lead and John Morris added another leaving them firmly in control.
However, three quick goals from J Ambrose (2) and D Kittyo for Ashburton gave them a surprise half-time lead.
Barracuda were rewarded for their efforts in the second half with a superb 30-yard strike from Deon Newby for his second goal of the day.
Although Surrey Valley had a harder game then they were expecting against Ravens United they won 2-1 with T Donovan and D Jupe the goal scorers.
Division Five
Virgil Leher, 39, became the oldest scorer in the history of Purley Phoenix when he scored in their emphatic 8-1 win against rivals Wickham Wanderers.
Ashley Thomas scored a hat-trick of goals, D Cumber got two with V Aguiste and A Jones getting the others.
D Jean Marie got Wickham's only goal.
Southwark Caribb came out 7-5 winners in a high-scoring game against Goodfellas C.
P Amikero got two goals for Carib, I Bangura, D Kibwika, J Otou, O Quadri and E Ukpohwo were the other scorers.
Surrey Valley Reserves meanwhile won their match against Selsdon Wanderers thanks to two goals by E Ryan.
A Shehas got KS Apolonia's consolation as they went down 2-1 at Croydon Jags.
Surrey Intermediate Cup, second round
Purley Phoenix came from behind to overcome Whyglaze Wanderers 4-3.
Wanderers took the lead with an unstoppable 30-yard shot on five minutes, but Purley replied through J Baron, M Osbourne and B Broom (2).
A Holleyman's goal could not prevent PSV Greenacres going down 2-1 to Roundshaw & District Colts.
Coulsdon Rangers were crushed 7-0 by AFC Links.
Goalkeeper Daniel McGourty was the Santos 92 hero as his side overcame Postmac 4-1 on penalties.
K McGourty has scored for Santos in normal time with A Douglas Marshall replying for Postmac.
K Buckenham, M Hewitt and A Wallace were on target for Goodfella Reserves but they still went down 8-3 to Molesey Legion Athletic.
