Back in February, one talented girl with a huge voice won Croydon's unsigned music act competition, Testing 1,2,3.

Just one of De'Borah's prizes was to perform at the Croydon Summer Festival.

"I'll be singing six or seven of my songs, all ones I've written myself," says De'Borah.

"It's folky and indie music with a soulful vibe as well."

De'Borah has had an incredibly busy year since winning the competition and still has a lot to look forward to.

"I've been recording my EP and I'm trying to get it released on the same day as the World Party – it's called Seasons.

"I'm going to be studying in Brighton from September so I'll be moving down there. It's going to be different for me but I'll definitely still keep having gigs in London. I'll never leave London, put it that way!"
