STABBING: The victim was treated outside Tiger Tiger
A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in central Croydon this evening (Tuesday).
Paramedics treated the victim outside nightclub Tiger Tiger, in High Street, although the incident is not thought to have anything to do with the nightclub.
The incident happened around 6.15pm but the London Ambulance Service were not called until 7pm.
The 32-year-old victim was taken to hospital in a stable condition and his injuries were not life-threatening.
A police spokeswoman said: "They don't know how he sustained the injuries. We were called to High Street, near the junction of George Street.
"London Ambulance Service sent an air ambulance, a fast response car, an ambulance crew and a duty manager."
An London Ambulance Service spokeswoman, however, confirmed what had happened.
She said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing. A 32-year-old man was taken as a priority to hospital."

“I agree with P South,Prison should be a place to be feared,if it were not for the do gooders we could have a system where.
A prisoner would be up at 4 am and carry out work till 4 pm.
Given enough plain food to sustain life.
Sleep on cocrete floor with 1 blanket + 1 pillow.
No visits,TV,newspapers,games,recreation NOTHING.
Bed,lights out at 6pm.
Then lets see how many re offend.”

“I knew an American Air Force guy back in the years of the Vietnam war.He had got drunk one night, broke into a school and damaged a glass globe. When he got in front of the judge he had two options...6 months in the State Pen or 2 years military service so he ended up in the USAF.
Instead of banging up our delinquents give em 6 months basic training then a 12 month tour of Afghanistan.”

“Why do you all think that the police will help solve knife crime?! Do you realise the police are powerless to stop it. having more on the streets to me is a waste of taxpayers money as its not going to stop whats going on.
And for those who want the judges to hand out harder sentances. what the heck for? so they can spend longer in jail which is like a holliday camp in this country?! They have it easier in jail than out on the streets so where is the justice in that?!
Why dont these criminals do some hard labour for their crimes instead of sitiing in a comfy cell, playing playstation and hanging out with their mates?! This is mine and your tax paying for these people!!”

“No doubt they were Negative. Typical of the peasants that inhabit Croydon. The sick thing is though that they probably got their phones out and filmed the poor bloke and then uploaded their vids on fakebook and youtube.
No offense to the victim but this really isnt breaking news, it's just bog standard Croydon news.
Heres an idea... Lets get judges that will actually hand out sentences fit for the crime committed.
Give police more power than a nigerian parking warden.
Plus.. If we have more CCTV cameras than New York it shouldnt take long to catch this pond scum, right??”

“Typical sub-standard & ill-informed reporting. Two amubulances were in attendance by 6.30 at the latest & had obviously been there a while....
Still, when the story is all too familiar I guess you have to 'sensationalise' it in some way.”
