Crystal Palace WILL look to tie up a deal for Ryan Smith once the Football League transfer embargo is lifted.

The Advertiser revealed last month that the former Millwall and Southampton forward was on trial at Selhurst Park.

But his progress has been hampered by a hamstring injury.

However, Eagles boss Neil Warnock has been sufficiently impressed by Smith and will talk to the pacy forward with regards to offering him an Eagles contract.

He told the Advertiser: “I like him as a player, he definitely has something about him.

“We need to deal with this transfer embargo first, then we can talk.”

“Will be good replacement for Victor
Moses, if he joins Wigan? and as I
say nice to see John Salako back
    as coach to under 13s.”
