DRAMATIC: The aftermath of the crash

A van has ploughed into a cafe in Upper Norwood, apparently injuring the driver.
The Mercedes crashed through the shop front of the Braziliana Cafe, in Westow Hill, at around 4pm today.
Advertiser photographer Martin Pitchley, speaking from the scene said: "They are just waiting to remove a patient from the vehicle.
"The van is completely embedded in a shop window so it's actually in the shop.
"There is lots of police activity. There are five paramedics, nine firefighters and the air ambulance crew is here.
"The centre part of the shop front is completely missing and there are windows smashed either side."

Some of you people need to shut your mouths about - it must hav dun at least a tenners worth of damage. Are you dumb or something. I was there wen it happend & it was really bad; so unless you were there you can stop being stupid and critical. And where does it say somone died.”
