Busy
My blog has been a bit neglected lately simply because I've been very busy.
Not as busy, however, as Croydon Central MP Andrew Pelling who has sent so many press releases in today that I half-blame him for the crippling IT problems we've been experiencing.
In the space of 45 minutes, he's told us how he raised the closure of Turtles in the House of Commons, met Olympian Tasha Danvers in the Whitgift Centre, welcomed the opening of the Croydon Visitors' Centre and had a baffling conversation with the Chancellor about the deputy govenor of the Bank of England, which I've read three times and still don't understand.
Fair play to him - nothing like making up for lost time.
And time is one thing we haven't got this week thanks to the Christmas deadlines. The Advertiser has to be finished by 10am tomorrow, and so far we've completed the grand total of zero pages.
Still, the front page should be quite arresting if we can, um, firm up some of the details.
