PALACE youngster Kieron Cadogan believes the two week international break will help get the Eagles season back on track.

George Burley's men have lost their last three Championship matches, and have been knocked out of the League Cup at Portsmouth, since their opening day victory over Leicester City.

But Cadogan believes the enforced lay-off will be beneficial as Palace look to return to winning ways at Reading on Saturday.

"I think it was always going to take time for us to gel as a team and the break will help us because we've had more time together on the training pitch," he told the Advertiser.

"Everyone looked hungry and sharp in training this morning and we are focussed on getting back on track this weekend."

Cadogan has been in impressive form down the Eagles wing so far this season. He is determined to build on his good start and nail down a spot in Burley's side.

"I wasn't involved at all last season and that was frustrating," he said. "But I have loved every minute this year.

"I'm just working hard to be as consistent as possible. I am giving 100 percent and am just trying my best to help the team climb the table."

“I was surprised Kieron Cadogan was ONLY an unused Sub 7 times, including 1 in FA Cup,last season after scoring on debut against Coventry, again as Sub,the previous season. He WILL score Goals,as he DID for Reserves last season.I AGREE with him the International Break has come at RIGHT Time as it WILL give signings a chance to GEL.George Burley HAS got a DECENT Squad Together.”
