TAKEN TO HOSPITAL: A person was taken to hospital following the crash in Aberdeen Road, Croydon
A car lost control and careered into a house in Croydon yesterday (Saturday).
The Vauxhall Astra was travelling down Aberdeen road when it crashed into the kitchen at the side of the property at around 2pm.
The fire service attended to remove the car, while the couple travelling in the vehicle were assessed by paramedics.
A third person was taken to Mayday Hospital, however their injuries are not believed to be serious.
Surveyors were at the scene yesterday and it is thought there is no damage to the main structure of the house.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: "The car lost control. I don't know whether it clipped another car or swerved to avoid it but it skidded sideways straight into someone's kitchen.
"There were two people in the vehicle, which was half-in and-half out."

“As someone who seems to have more accidents I can safely say that it's not a fun experience i am currently going through a fraud insurance claim from the person I hit in the rear so I hope that the driver is lucky enough not to be persued for an insurance claim that didn't or hasn't happened but in the same respect is honest enough to hold their hands up and say it was their fault and pay the just desserts. People nowadays are not as honest and claim others were in the cars or that more damage has been done than what actually happened trust me i know what i am on about about this because i am going through hell.
Insurance companies need to chjange certain things like having 6 years to put a claim in for an accident like in my case i hit the car fair enough but i hardly caused any damage and the other driver is claiming i hit him smack in the boot well their wasn't enough damage on my car sorry people got carried away.
I just hope that no-one was seriously injured and all involved are honest people”

“Insurance companies charge women less, because whilst they actually have more accidents than men, they have minor car park scrapes. Men, however, have the big ones, writing off cars and injuring people.
When people turn 70 their driving, in general, starts to deteriorate, and drivers over 80 are actually a worse risk than a 17 year old.”
