Carr-Miller bursts back to top form
FIVE Croydon Harriers competing at the South of England Indoor U17/U15 championships at Lee Valley returned with medals last weekend, writes Matthew Kiernan.
Omari Carr-Miller (pictured above) stormed to the U17 men's 400 metres title, winning the two-lap event in 51.00secs, the fastest indoor time this year for his age group.

Shirin Iriving was a worthy runner-up in the U15 girls' pentathlon, posting a personal best of 3,220 points including individual bests in the 60m hurdles (8.90secs) and shot put (11.23m).
Stirling Gibbons grabbed a bronze in the equivalent U15 boys' event, also achieving a new personal best of 2,043 including his quickest time for 1,000m (3mins 15.59secs).
Eleanor Smith-Hahn also took third in the 300m thanks to a time of 45.30, having run 45.15 in qualification.
And Femi Agbetoyin clinched a bronze in the U17 800m, clocking 2:02:59. Patrick Lucas was fifth in the same race, timing 2:09:30.
