FRINGE players gave Whyteleafe boss Stuart Massey a "nice headache" after helping his side take the scalp of Ryman Premier Division rivals Carshalton in the League Cup on Tuesday night.

Massey made five changes from Saturday's 5-0 thumping of Horsham YMCA.

Now he hopes Leafe can show the consistency they have lacked, by making the most of a trip to Division One South leaders Worthing on Saturday, followed by two home games starting with Chatham next Tuesday.

"I've said all along the players I put out are capable of playing in the first team," Massey said.

"It's been a while since I've had a run in one of the cups, but it means we can give all these guys regular football."
