Carters share the wickets for Sanderstead
BROTHERS Simon and Russell Carter took five wickets each as Sanderstead won a low-scoring fixture against Dorking.
Put into bat on a rain affected track, Sanderstead lost quick wickets against a tight Dorking attack.
By the 13th over they had lost their entire top order with Deine Robinson run out for nothing, Simon Carter caught by Ben Overton for 13, Richard Young caught by Tim Johnson for 16 and Abdul Muzammill by caught Nick Lee for six.
Captain Dan Udall coming in at number five played with determination and although wickets continued to fall Udall played the anchor role that allowed the Millers to make a defendable total.

Latiff Ullah looked in good form when he struck Francis Chadwick for a mammoth six but he was then bowled by Chadwick in his next over for just nine.
Andy Keen was bowled by Overton for a duck but Russell Carter supported Udall for several overs until he was bowled by Chadwick for 12.
It was left to the tail-enders put up a stout defence and between them they occupied the crease for over half the innings.
Bob Hollands played out four overs until caught and bowled by Scott Kelsey for nothing, then Tom Hilton dug in for 17 overs before being caught Davies off Kamau Leverock for five.
Finally Richie Bull at number 11, together with Udall, pushed the score on to 124. Bull made a quick 12 runs in the last stages which included two boundaries. Udall was finally run out on the last ball of the innings having top scored on 38.
Replying, Dorking lost both openers to Simon Carter in the first over without scoring.
Kelsey being caught by Andy Keen at long off and Jordan Rollins to a remarkable one-handed reaction catch by Russell Carter at slip. Rob Chav and Nick Lee persevered until Chav drove at a rising ball from Simon Carter and was promptly caught by Robinson at extra cover for 20.
Kamau Leverock was caught Udall off Russell Carter for nothing with the total on 26-4. Tim Johnson, with Lee, formed a valuable 26-run partnership until Johnson played at and missed a full toss to be pinioned lbw by Russell Carter for 13 and Lee only survived one more over before being caught and bowled by Simon Carter for 22.
Lewis Davies survived just three overs before being caught by Simon Carter off his brother's bowling for just two.
Overton and Liam Costello amassed a further 22 before Costello was bowled by Russell Carter to a ball that cut back sharply to remove his off stump.
With the score on 90 Overton was adjudged lbw having made a solid 18 runs leaving Ross Osborne and Chadwick to score an unlikely 35 for victory.
But the last pair batted carefully and continued to push the score along until Osborne was finally bowled by Simon Carter for 15 and Dorking were all out for 110, just 15 runs short of their target.
