Caterham Pirates day goes with a swing
Skulls and crossbones together with pieces of eight were prominent when Caterham's Church Walk centre staged a Pirates Day on Saturday.
Appropriately, the centre resembled a stormy sea at times as the rain lashed down.

Nonetheless visitors young and old enjoyed attractions as diverse as face painting, hornpipe dancers, a pirate DJ and Caterham Sea Cadets with their own boat.
A children's pirate fancy dress contest was held, and the centre was decked out in Jolly Roger bunting.
