Croydon Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) has arranged for a special Christmas market to come to North End from November 27 to December 18.

This Christmas Village Market will feature specially-decorated chalet stalls selling all manner of seasonal goods, creating a buzz of excitement in the lead up to this year's holiday season.

Shoppers in Croydon will be spoilt for choice with unique festive arts and crafts from around the globe. The market will also feature gift ideas for all the family – including jewellery, health products, clothes and accessories – and an array of international foods to tickle your tastebuds.

It all promises to be the perfect backdrop to Christmas in Croydon, attracting large numbers of shoppers to the area to take advantage of all the great shops we have in the town centre. Whatever you're looking for this year, Croydon's Christmas Festival has it all wrapped up.

BID manager Ros Morgan said: "The guest market will boost footfall in the town centre at this crucial time of year for local traders.

"Similar markets have increased the number of visitors to the shopping districts of areas such as Chester in Cheshire, where total spend increased by over £10 million as a result of their guest market. We couldn't ignore such positive results and hope to entice large numbers with our own Christmas Village Market this year."
