Surrey FA Junior Cup
GOLDEN Lion Reserves of the Premier Division came away with a convincing 8-1 win over Kingston Park Rangers thanks to a hat-trick for Tom Blesson.

GOALS GALORE: Holwood Eagles smashed a staggering 15 goals past Oakfield Manor B in Division Five
Woodmansterne Hyde of Division Two got through thanks to a superb second half performance. They were losing 3-1 but fought back to claim victory with two goals each for Ali and French and a further goal for Graves.
Thenachio grabbed both the goals for premier team AFC Phoenix as they beat Red Star Morden 2-1.
Division Two's Portland beat Charlwood Village 3-1 thanks to goals scored by Baker, Broadway and Ben Mankelow.
Athletico Croydon of Division Four beat Vitoria 6-5. Athletico went 2-0 up thanks to Ogilvie and Paul Samuels but were then pegged back to 2-2 before Ben Samuels put them 3-2 up.
Sloppy play by Athletico allowed Vitoria to gain a 5-3 advantage. However, two more goals from Ben Samuels and one from Dan Couch sealed a win.
Unfortunately Croydon City of Division Three just missed out in a penalty shoot out after drawing the game 3-3 at full time.
Division One
Phoenix Athletic's 3-0 win over an inconsistent AFC Thornton Heath put them in joint top place in the league with a game in hand.
Croydon JFC drew 3-3 with Purley Phoenix giving them their first points of the season. Catt and Stubbs (2) were the scorers for Croydon.
In a mid-table game, Kurdistan United beat Carshalton Town 2-1.
Division Two
Maple Tree's 4-3 win over Santos 92 keeps them top of the table. Hazelby (2), Roache and Taylor were the scorers. McGourty replied with two and Quinn, currently the division's top scorer, added the other. Real Madras got their first point of the season after a 1-1 draw with Kurdish Utd.
Division Three
Mayfield United beat Ashburton Wanderers 1-0.
Barracuda are joint top of the league following a 7-1 win over bottom team Green Phoenix Eagles. Kwami continued his blazing goal scoring trail with a hat-trick giving him 16 goals in seven games. AFC Rio grabbed their first win of the season as they beat Oakfield Manor 3-1. Chris Fisher, Gaynor and Wickransinghe were the scorers.
Surrey Valley's 3-2 win over Sanderstead Spitfires put them top of the table. Donovan, Moncton and Rameswair were the Valley scorers.
Division Four
Kobs United may have started slowly in their match against Croydon Corporation but eventually won 7-1. The division's top scorer Muwanga scored four of the goals.
Portland Reserves beat Waddon Wanderers 2-0 leaving Waddon still searching for their first points of the season.
Division Five
It was a 1-1 draw in the mid-table game between Croydon Jags and Forum Flyers.
Holwood Eagles thrashed the luckless Oakfield Manor B by a massive 15-0. Lee scored six goals with Blake-Orlebar and Power adding two each. The other goals were scored by Cook, Glace, Palmer, Moores, Skinner and Tucker.
It was the first time Selsdon FC and Souls FC had played each other and it proved to be an exciting match.
Adam Ethrington was Selsdon's man of the match in a 6-3 win that leaves them second in the table.
Wickham Wanderers just lost 3-2 against Orpington Rovers. Their scorers were Jean Marie and Ross. The win moves Orpington into third spot in the league.
CMSFL Challenge Cup – Round One
Carlton United of Division Two faced premier team AFC Thornton and started brightly as they took a 1-0 lead 10 minutes into the match through Byrne. Thornton levelled the game when man of the match, Rocky Patel, broke free on the right and beat the keeper. Patel then went onto grab his second just on the half-time whistle.
Despite many attacks in the second half, Carlton's defence held strong and they nearly grabbed an equaliser to take the game into extra time but it was not to be as a fine save from keeper Gary Mintrim kept AFC ahead and put them into the second round.
