Croydon were 3-2 down with 10 minutes remaining, but Conor Wilkinson got an equaliser from the penalty spot and Socrates Nsungu scrambled the ball home in the last minute to earn them an away tie against the winners of the South London v Newham match.

At the same venue, the U12s were 2-0 up at half-time against Islington & Camden in their Thomas Pear Trophy tie but were out-shone in the second half, eventually losing 5-3.

The U11s were 4-1 winners against Thanet at Riddlesdown in the ESFA South East Gills Shield.

Leading goalscorer Fraser Garratt put Croydon ahead just before half-time. Shaun Tock-Alger increased their lead but Thanet reduced the arrears, before Albero Bassilua and Bryce Hosannah made the game safe for Croydon.

The U16s drew 2-2 against a strong Blackheath team in a South-East England league fixture at Catford.

Croydon were a goal down after 10 minutes but skipper Emmanuel Akokhia grabbed an equaliser, rifling home from just outside the Blackheath penalty area.

In a pulsating match. Blackheath forged ahead again thanks to a defensive slip but Croydon fought back and Daniel Hughes levelled matters at 2-2.
