Croydon man murdered in Tooting
A MURDER investigation has been launched after a Croydon man attacked in Tooting died in hospital.
Police and paramedics were called to a property on Eastbourne Road in Tooting at 1.04am on Sunday (May 20), where they found a man in a critical condition.
The man was rushed to St George's Hospital, but he died last night.
Police have identified the victim as Przemyslaw Lepkowski, 24 and of Thornton Avenue in Broad Green.

A post-mortem will take place later this afternoon.
Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances of the incident, but a murder inquiry is now underway and an incident has been opened under Detective Chief Inspector Amanda Hargreaves of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
Four men in their twenties were arrested at or near the scene.
One remains in police custody and the other three have been released with no further action.
