Dalrymple bags another hat-trick in Croydon Municipal League
Premier Division
Mitsubishi Electric put five goals past Thornton Rovers. K Dalrymple scored another hat-trick with K Rameswan and P Towler also netting.

Newly-promoted AFC Thornton had most of the possession in their opening match in the division against Golden Lion, especially in the second half, but they were unable to convert this into goals. D Clayton, L Kennedy and P Langan took advantage of three silly errors to seal Golden Lion's third consecutive win. Adam Rea netted twice for Thornton in reply.
Goals from David Robinson and Kyle Morgan saw an under-strength Addington United beat Frinton Rovers 2-1.
K Townsend-Gray scored the only goal of the game as Barca FC bounced back from last week's reverse by inflicting on AFC Phoenix their first defeat of the season.
Division One
Shumba Warriors won their third game in a row, beating AFC Thornton Heath 5-2. L Berman, P Bloom, R Brown, C Pritchard and W Smythe gave Shumba a well-deserved win, C Campbell getting both for Thornton.
Honours were even for the match between Goodfellas and CR Galaxy which ended 2-2. M Osbourne netted twice for Goodfellas and R Guilford bagged two for Galaxy.
Kurdish United beat Zeus 2-0, Ahmend scoring both goals.
M Osborne struck both goals as Purley Phoenix edged out Postmac for whom D Douglas-Marshall replied.
Division Two
Croydon Postal beat Coulsdon Rangers (C Lish) 6-1. Although R Bristol and L Langley were on target, further missed chances saw Sovereign lose 3-2 to Oakfield Manor A.
Real Madras and Sanderstead Spitfires drew 2-2. G Elgin and J Ingram scored for Madras with J Canning (2) replying for the Spitfires.
Division Three
AFC Rio beat South Norwood United 8-2 for their third win in a row. Chris Fisher and D Munro both scored hat-tricks while A Berry and A Gaynor were also on the scoresheet. J Cushing and A Waspe replied for Norwood, who have yet to gain a point this season.
Croydon City allowed Carshalton Town too much space and poor defensive play meant they were already five goals down by half-time. Two goals apiece for M Smith and K Yansen helped Carshalton win 6-1. Although Croydon came out stronger in the second half their only reward came from a D Ward goal while S Kwabena and S Shew added to Carshalton's tally.
Two goals from M Murray and another by T McDaid gave Croydon Independiente a 3-1 victory against Goodfellas Reserves for whom R Leach was on target.
A disorganised Maple Tree managed to win their match at Green Phoenix Eagles 3-1 thanks to goals from R Blake, B Ladeinda and R Taylor.
Division Four
S Shampando netted a hat-trick while J Ambrose, A Andrews, B Heaton, J Kilsby-Harvey, C Taylor and M Waller were also on target as Ashburton Wanderers beat Athletico Croydon 9-1.
Oakfield Manor B's D Wilkes was also on the hat-trick trail but his efforts, and a goal from P McNab, were not enough to prevent his side going down 6-4 to Addiscombe Corinthians (E Brown, A Malcolm 3, K Thomas 2).
Four goals from M Bristow and one apiece from J Goodes and J McGillivray ensured PSV Greenacres strolled past Ravens United 6-2.
Goals from John Morris, Neil Mullane (penalty) and two from Deon Newby saw Barracuda race into a four-goal lead before Forum Flyers pulled one back just before half-time through N Bing. Morris added a second after the break with D Hood replying for Forum.
Division Five
Croydon JFC were three-up inside seven minutes against Goodfellas C and went on to win 12-0. A Corps netted four times, D Anderson twice and other scorers were B Foley C Muldoon, K Gooden, J Stubbs and M Milton. The goal of the game came when D Stubbs collected the ball in his own half and went past seven players before slotting home.
A Marley netted twice and L Elmer and D Jean Marie were also on target as Wickham Wanderers won 4-1 against Croydon Jags (B Shah).
Goals from D Clarke (2), A Gorden and M Johnson saw Croydon U21s edge out Surrey Valley Reserves 4-3 (S Blowers 2, C Gedman).
Phoenix Athletic continued their unbeaten run with a 3-1 success at Selsdon Wanderers thanks to goals from A Jones (2) and A Thomas. J Macinally replied for Selsdon, who admit they need to re-organise if they are to compete.
KS Apalonia could not contain Soutwark Caribb's pacy forwards particularly P Amikero, who scored twice as his side claimed a 3-0 win.
Surrey FA Junior Cup, first round
Division One side Golden Lion Reserves beat Mitcham Strollers 5-2 thanks to goals from T Blesson, B Chincharo (2), J Ward and an own goal. Croydon Corporation (J Kennedy 2, N Kwami), of Division Four, squeezed past Oranges Boranges 3-2.
Division Two Portland had J Atkins and B Mankelow to thank for their 2-1 win over West Clandon RBC.
Purley Phoenix A endured a frustrating game and despite a late goal from J Shand eventually lost 3-1 to Lombard Phoenix. Chessington Sports beat Division Two Carlton United 2-1. D Byrne scored the consolation goal for Carlton.
A Bush and J Said were on target for Banter Central, but the Division One were beaten 7-2 by M Tennis.
