Dance class is a real hit
CROYDON Schools' Dance Association has been running a dance summer school.
It was held at Shirley High School, thanks to funding from Croydon Voluntary Action.
The association employed dance professionals to teach 65 young dancers aged between 11 and 16.
The students took taster sessions in Bollywood, contemporary, African, break and street dancing, as well as musical theatre.
At the end of the week-long course students produced a dance piece which they performed in front of family and friends.
