Danvers out of World Championships
Olympic bronze medallist Tasha Danvers is OUT of the World Athletics Championships.
Speaking to the Advertiser last Thursday, the Croydon Harrier was exceedingly vague about her comeback from a hamstring injury sustained on June 10.

And at the weekend she ruled herself out of the Great Britain team for August's championships in Berlin after consulting with UK Athletics chief medical officer Dr Paul Dijkstra.
The 400m hurdler only had this weekend's British championships and UK trials, or the Crystal Palace London Grand Prix on July 24 and 25 to prove her fitness.
Speaking to the Advertiser prior to her announcement, she said: "I don't even think about the competitions that are coming up.
"I don't see any negatives in a situation like this.
"If I'm not going to be ready for one thing then I'm just going to be ready for something else.
"These things happen for a reason."
Danvers added that Kelly Holmes, who had a similarly injury-blighted career, spurred her on after winning two gold medals - over 800m and 1,500m - at the 2004 Olympics.
"That's my inspiration," Danvers said.
"If she was 34 and won then when people say to me 'Oh' you're a bit old now love' I say 'No – do you remember Kelly Holmes?'
"In 2012 I will be the same age as she was – and I'm only going for one gold medal."
