FRIDAY'S Croydon Advertiser is certainly not one to miss if you're a Crystal Palace supporter.

Not only is there an in-depth preview of Saturday's huge game surrounding the return of Dougie Freedman to Selhurst Park with Bolton Wanderers, but Eagles boss Ian Holloway is keen to stress to the Palace faithful to think twice before deciding on what reception to give the Scot.

Holloway's exclusive column certainly focusses on Freedman, who he believes left a solid foundation and Palace in a good state before departing for the Reebok Stadium, while he comments on the controversial tackle made by Vincent Kompany for Manchester City last Sunday against Arsenal.

What's more, Holloway praises Lionel Messi on the back of winning the Ballon D'Or award and believes the Barcelona star has a passion for painting.

And there's an interview with former assistant boss Lennie Lawrence, who thinks he and Freedman deserve to be given a positive reception once they

step out of the players' tunnel in SE25.

A full match report and reaction page from Tuesday's 4-1 defeat at Stoke City is also included, alongside player ratings and match facts, while Holloway discusses the treatment of Wilfried Zaha at the Britannia Stadium and goes into detail about players diving and cheating.

Meanwhile, columnist James Daly pokes fun at the national media for the fake tweet sent by Zaha surrounding his future and there is also the latest news from the Palace U18 academy and Ladies' teams.

Don't miss all of this, only in tomorrow's Croydon Advertiser.
