Exclusive: Palace eye Hammers starlet
Crystal Palace are weighing up a loan move for West Ham starlet Freddie Sears, the Advertiser can reveal.
Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola confirmed this week that he will let the 19-year-old leave Upton Park on temporary basis next season in order for the striker to gain more first-team experience.

Sears is wanted by Palace
Palace chief Neil Warnock is desperate to bolster his side’s attacking ranks ahead of next season after a lacklustre campaign in front of goal last term.
And the Yorkshireman has told the Advertiser he will look into the prospect of bringing the talented hitman to Selhurst Park next season.

“I wouldn't haveany other manager at the moment. He is a much misunderstood man. I warmed to him when he was Sheff Utd manager and he applauded our fans at the end.
Freddie's just what we need so let him come!”

“I hear what you say buddy. When he was at Shef U I felt exactly the same as you and when I heard he was coming to Palace I thought no way. Yes we all know what he is like but nobody is perfect. He is though Loyal, passionate and a true football fan. He puts football before money unlike some people in our beautiful game. He certainly went up in my estimations when we faced Shef U in the final game of the season when it was more important to them than us. The media reported that he would put out a weakened team which he didn,t so this goes to show what an honest manager he is. By the way you can tell he is also a good family man by the way he is with his children so he aint all that bad. So now can we please have Freddie if NW wants him?”
