PALACE boss George Burley has completed a three month loan signing of Everton striker James Vaughan.

The Eagles chief has been in discussions with Everton boss David Moyes and the club have announced the deal was finalised this afternoon.

“We think James is a very good player and he will add strength and a bit of experience to our forward line,” Burley told the Advertiser.

“It’s no secret we have been looking for a striker and I think James could be the answer. He will be the final player we bring in, after this deal we will work with what we’ve got.”
