A KEEN golfer is auctioning off two exclusive cases of wine to raise money for a new children's wing at Sutton's Royal Marsden Hospital.

Arthur Lyddall, chairman of Addington Court Veterans Golf Club, has got his hands on 12 bottles of award-winning Il Molino di Grace Chianti Classico Reserva 2005.

The wine has come from his friend Frank Grace, who owns a winery in Tuscany.

Mr Lyddall, from Sanderstead Court Avenue, Sanderstead, said: "When Frank found out we were raising money for the new children's wing he said, 'Why didn't you tell me?' and insisted on sending over this very lovely wine.

"I hope that we will raise at least £250 for the wine because it's very exclusive.

"The winning bidders will be able to enjoy both the taste and the fact that they've helped such a good cause!"

There is a reserve price of £250 for all 12 bottles and £125 for one case of six bottles.

For more information or to bid, call Mr Lyddall on 020 8657 8240 or e-mail ajl@arthurlyddall.co.uk
