Children in Forestdale hoping for a fun-packed summer need look no further than the Forestdale Forum.

The Kids Alive fun group offers games and activities for youngsters from the age of three to 10, every Wednesday.

Run by the Forestdale branch of the Salvation Army, Kids Alive features songs, crafts and toys for two separate age groups.

From 5pm to 6pm, there is an hour of fun geared towards reception aged children to those in Year 2.

Then from 6pm to 7.15pm the older kids, from Year 3 to Year 6, get their turn.

The activities cost £1 per child and take place in the Forestdale Forum, Bardolph Avenue, Forestdale.
