Fourth defeat spells trouble

CROYDON slipped to a fourth successive league defeat, against the league leaders.
They enjoyed most of the play in the first half, but made three big errors in the second half.
Still in touch with 10 minutes to go, desperation set in and a fourth error was seized upon by the visitors to seal the win.
Alex Warsop (penalty), Rory Stewart (try) and David Wheeler (try) put Croydon on top by half-time. Another Warsop penalty could not make up for the errors.
Croydon visit Pulborough in the Junior Vase fourth round.
