Holden wins 1,500m title
TOM Holden has his sights set on the English Schools Championships.
The South London Harrier won the U17 1,500m title at the Surrey Schools Championships in 4 minutes 08.84 seconds.
He had already run inside the time to qualify for the Surrey team heading to the nationals, in Gateshead on July 6-7.
Last year, at U15 level, he was fifth in the national championships.

And, even though he is at the younger end of his new two-year age-group, he is ranked eighth nationally, thanks to a personal best of 3:58.06.
"It was really good to win the gold medal," he said of last Saturday's win at Kingsmeadow.
"I'd really like to run a quick time at the nationals. I'm not sure about medals - I just want to run a good race."
Holden also has the time to be considered for the 3,000m - and a national ranking of fifth for his age at that distance, having run 8:44.06, 11 seconds inside the time required.
