Holloway: I haven't experienced so much hype surrounding one player

EAGLES boss Ian Holloway admits he's never had to deal with so much questioning and hype surrounding one player in the shape of Wilfried Zaha.

But, despite the flurry of speculation the January transfer window brings, the manager says it's about how you deal with it and says Palace are in control regarding Zaha's future.

"I've never experienced all of this with someone as young as this," he told Advertiser Sport.

"Another one I had was Barry Hayles and it all got a bit ridiculous, plus Jason Roberts and Jamie Cureton.

"At the end of the day, it's all about dealing with it.

"We're not considering anything at the moment. I mentioned on the Footballers' Football Show last Friday that my chairman had held one or two conversations with interested clubs, but it's gone no further than that since.

"People can like him all they like, but he belongs to us."
