“The council have resurfaced three roads on a private estate, just off the A23 and they look worse now than before they decided to resurface with the cold treatment. The roads are uneven and the tarmac is breaking up already!! One road was finished in a matter of hours! The council have responded to complaints by saying there is nothing wrong with the roads and they will settle down!!”

“I cycle up and down Duppas Hill Road on my daily commute and although not mentioned in the list above they have made a shocking job of repairing potholes there. It is an accident waiting to happen as I have to pull out into the middle of the road to avoid the mess they have made”

“Yes they are being filled in with loose tarmac then they are going off.
~The filled in potholes are now dents as the loose tarmac has been worn down already and it's all breaking up.
It's only being bodged because it's coming up to the end of the financial year and things have to be "seen to be done" at the moment.”

“I too noticed the pot holes - Easter is almost upon us and the roads are appaling! I live on Epsom Road & reguarly use Waddon New Road to get to Central Croydon and beyond.”

“The problem is that the Council are using a temporary cold fill to repair the potholes that barely lasts a fortnight. There are a couple nasty potholes in Waddon New Road, right on the cycling line that were 'repaired' a couple of weeks ago. The filling has now started to come out, with the 4 or more bus routes that use this road, and they will soon be back to what they were like before, probably worse.
A permanent repair is needed.”
