Jam Hair salon in Croydon reaches national final of beauty contest
A TEAM of stylists have blown away the competition to reach the final of a hair and beauty contest.
The happy team at Jam Hair in Sanderstead was nominated for coveted national awards by their loyal customers.
Jacqui Marola, owner of the unisex salon, said: "We are really excited – it's the first award we've ever entered. The girls are loving it.
"It would mean a lot to win, because when you're an award winner it shows local people that you look after your customers."
Jam Hair, which opened five years ago in Limpsfield Road, has been short listed for Hair Salon of the Year at the English Hair and Beauty Awards, which will be held in Manchester on February 26.

“As the years go by, I'm finding that it takes less and less time for me to get my hair cut, so maybe I'm not their most challenging customer, but this is where I have mine done, and they're a lovely bunch of people who look after their clients well. Fingers crossed for you at the awards!”
