Lansdown: Palace owe Robins £250k for Carle
Bristol City chairman Steve Lansdown has revealed Palace still owe the Ashton Gate club £250,000 for midfielder Nick Carle.
The Eagles swooped for the Australia international for £1m last summer.

Million man: Carle
But in the light of the 'phantom' goal furore last weekend at Ashton Gate, Lansdown wrote in his programme notes: "He (Palace boss Neil Warnock) accused us of being cheats but I would suggest he gets his own house in order.
"Mr Warnock is continually whingeing about being subject to a transfer embargo which is only in place because of his club not paying their bills.
"It is common knowledge that Palace owe us £250,000 as part of the Nick Carle transfer."

“Hi guys, Well Lee, Now Simon Jordan has done what he promised and sorted the finances out, the embargo has been lifted, leaving NW to go ahead with the signings of Smith and Davies.
I went to the Newcastle match and yes it was an easy win for them but we were not outclassed, just remember people even though they are now in the championship, their team is still made up of premiership players. This, and the Man City game will benefit the team, especially our youngsters, for the rest of the season.
As for the Moses situation, NW has put out a statement today denying the speculation that a deal has been made with Wigan and so I predict that we will have him still at our club after the window closes.”
