DRAMA: The aftermath of the shooting in Thornton Heath
A man has been shot in the shoulder in Norbury.
Police cordoned off the junction of London Road and Northborough Road at 4pm following reports of a firearms incident.
It is understood the man walked into nearby shop and told an employee that he had been shot.
Early reports suggest the man was shot by a pellet or air gun.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance said: “We were called to London Road just before 4pm to reports of a shooting.
“We sent an ambulance and the duty officer to the scene to treat a male victim.

Well that would be in Norbury not Thornton Heath wouldn't it. Loving the quality of the journalism.”
