"And as we say goodbye to the areas that started our operation nearly 30 years ago we would like to mark the occasion by thanking all our drivers, controllers and staff, both past and present, who have helped us to build the company into what it is today.
"For the current drivers who have moved with route T33 from the weekend, we would like to make a special mention for all your hard work over the years in making the service what it is today and wish you all the best for the future.
"I used the Selsdon buses myself when I was a lad and that's why I wanted this job; it is definitely the end of an era."
The routes are being taken over by London Bus Network.
