Mits edge a thriller
Premier Division
Leaders Mitsubishi Electric had to come from behind four times before clinching a last-minute winner against AFC Thornton in a nine-goal thriller.
Danny Riddle's superb shot gave Thornton an early lead but Mits soon hit back. Having already seen a long-range effort hit the underside of the bar, they equalised following a defensive mix up. Julian Van Gelder restored Thornton's advantage from the penalty spot after Danny Davis had been brought down in the area. Again Mits replied, this time latching onto a poor goal-kick only for Davis to win a second penalty which Van Gelder converted. A fine passing move resulted in a third Mits equaliser to make it 3-3 at half-time.
Having sustained the early pressure in the second half, Thornton took the lead once more when a neat pass from Ryan Scott down the left side found Sean Scott, who turned his man before scoring. Mitsubishi, however, came back again with their fourth goal and in the dying minutes bundled the ball across the line following a corner for the winner. Terry Lineker got two of the Mitsubishi goals with the others coming from Kevin Dalrymple, Henry Kabanda and Sam Odartey.
Barca kept up the pressure with a 4-0 win over Addington United thanks to goals from Kevin Townsend-Grey, Chris Diaz, Ivan Dos Santos and Kevin Harvey.

Paul Langdon put the Lions ahead after the break following a Dan Clayton free-kick and Dave Yule added a third. Clayton completed the scoring with a 35-yard screamer in the last minute.
