A TEACHER accused of stabbing his parents to death at his family home has had his trial delayed again.

Daniel Dighton, 34, is accused of murdering his dad Barry and mum Elizabeth at their home in Campden Road, South Croydon.

Dighton is now set to stand trial at the Old Bailey on October 11.

Trials scheduled for April and then August 31, had to be postponed.

Judge Paul Worsley QC agreed to a prosecution application to adjourn the case until the autumn while further inquiries are made.

Barry Dighton was head of Elmhurst School for Boys, in South Croydon, until his retirement.
