BLASTING PAIN AWAY: Paul Morrisey uses the revolutionary device
It is quite a claim – but a leading Addiscombe osteopath says he has acquired a revolutionary machine which in just weeks can cure pains in which have lasted for decades.
Paul Morrisey, who runs the Osteopathic Clinic of Physical Medicine, in Cheyne Walk, owns the only machine of its kind in the whole of Greater London and Surrey area, and says it can cure anything from chronic tendonitis to tennis elbow without surgery.
The £20,000 Swiss DolorClast Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy device has been used by Premier League footballers and Olympic athletes in the past – and now it can be used by 50-year-old Mr Morrisey's Croydon patients too.
He said: "When I saw this machine at an international conference in Italy I knew I had to get one.
"It's not an inexpensive undertaking, but the astounding fact that you get surgical results with a non-surgical process is incredible.
"I have treated 40 patients and so far have had a 100 per cent success rate."
"It is incredible when you consider some people go for years and years with the most terrible inflamed heels or tennis elbows – and now we can cure it in three short blasts."
Clients come to see Mr Morrisey from across the country but he wants more Croydon residents to take advantage of the equipment on their doorstep.
He said: "It could save a lot of people from surgery as a last resort or ongoing physiotherapy or acupuncture."
The machine works by delivering shockwaves to the injured area of the body.
Mr Morrisey, who has treated international dancers, golfers and Millwall footballers at his clinic, added: "This is a real breakthrough. I have been practising osteopathy for 20 years and I have never saw results like this before."

“Anne I think you have made a mistake with your comment!
Should it not read 'I have been an acute pain for some time'?”

“Every time I try to put a comment in, nothing happens. Here we go again. I have been in acute pain for ages, so I think I may try this man.”
