Enterprising parishioners at St John's Church, in Canons Hill, are being encouraged to pick up their knitting needles for a good cause.

They have been invited to knit children's jumpers which will be taken out to children in Malawi next month by one parishioner.

A simple knitting pattern is available from the parish office at the church for anyone who wants to get involved.
