Palace boss: Gareth Bale is a big fish in the Tottenham pond now
CRYSTAL Palace boss Ian Holloway hopes Gareth Bale can continue his fantastic form for Tottenham Hotspur after watching the Welshman set the Premier League alight in recent weeks.
And in his exclusive Croydon Advertiser column, Holloway talks in-depth about the 23-year-old, who he believes is still developing and that there is no reason why he should leave Spurs – yet.
He told Advertiser Sport: "He's getting better all the time, and he's maturing as well, spending a lot of time practicing some free-kicks in an usual way – well done to him.
"I would imagine only a few clubs in the world can afford him and I think it's already limited with that.

"But it seems to be suiting him at Tottenham because he's developing and he's a big fish in that pool now.
"Everything about his game is really on form and I hope it continues."

Cardiff Dragons, whatever next.
Blue is the colour now Red.
When Palace score a Goal we sing 'Glad all over'.
When Cardiff score a Goal, do you sing 'Sad all over'.
Premiership or not, your Club is becoming a laughing stock.”
