Palace boss blasts Gillingham pitch invader
CRYSTAL Palace boss Ian Holloway has condemned the young Gillingham supporter who jumped on Wycombe Wanderers loan goalkeeper Jordan Archer.
On Monday night at the Priestfield Stadium, the Gills conceded a late goal after 85 minutes, and in stoppage time, Archer went to take a goal kick in front of the home fans.
Then out of nowhere, a fan entered the field and jumped on to the custodian, who luckily escaped injury.
"We're in danger of locking some complete idiots up and I think that's the best way to do it," Holloway told Advertiser Sport.

"Whoever that kid is, he should be banned for life. You can't jump on a football pitch and you can't jump on a player – what does he think he was doing?
"Until we take severe action, we can't have people locked in cages at football matches because of the Hillsborough disaster.
"What we've got to do is educate these people at football matches that if you encroach on a football pitch, you will be dealt with severely, and in fact, you'll never go again.
"In my lifetime, I've seen tennis player Monica Seles stabbed, so where is it going to stop?
"As far I'm concerned, fans need to do their job and support – they don't have to attack someone's goalkeeper, just support your team."
