CHAIRMAN Simon Jordan has denied Crystal Palace have been issued with a winding up order from Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs.

The Advertiser were tipped off earlier this week that Palace were due to be summoned to court by HMRC for unpaid income tax.

The order was said to be delivered to the club at the start of the month, but Jordan denied any knowledge of such action.

"No that is absolutely not correct," he said. "The club have not been issued with a winding up order."

“You two are sad, just get behind him for the sake of our club.”

    “Clive & Lee,
it is no good arguing with Peter, Northants & his sidekick Luis 4-6-0, they are both demented.
How can we still trust our chairman, in the week he totally denies owing this money.
With Goldberg as chairman, we had a dreamer, but Jordan is proving right now, he is hopelessly out of his depth at running a football club.
Could not make it today, other commitments.”

“Well Peter I don't believe everything I read in the paper because I certainly don't belive what you and L0uis write. As I said to you the other day wake up and smell the coffeee because it's only a matter of time and L0uis, if Palace do owe the tax man money they are probably paying more interest than they would get having the money in the bank.”

“Hate to admit it Lee but you are right, this has just been confirmed on the soccer special by Jeff Stelling. I just hope that we can all get behind SJ and the club regardless of what some people think about him. Remember it is all about CPFC and not Simon Jordan himself.”

“Well if you believe everything you read in the papers then thats your thing but don't keep on digging a hole for yourself eh. Lets just wait and see, this is all supposition. I may be wrong but I do think you are waiting for SJ to fail.”
