PALACE boss George Burley is optimistic he will have Darren Ambrose and Neil Danns available for the trip to Scunthorpe on Saturday.

Darren Ambrose should be fit for Saturday
The Eagles influential midfield duo have been struggling with injuries over the past week but Burley has revealed that both are recovering well.
Ambrose suffered a knock to the knee in training last Friday and subsequently missed the defeats at home to Ipswich Town and Portsmouth in the League Cup.
Danns also missed the penalty shoot out agony on the south coast last night, but Burley is hopeful he will have both available for Saturday’s Championship encounter.
“We’re hoping that Neil and Darren will be OK for the weekend,” he said. “Neither are serious injuries and we should have them back in time.
“David Wright is going to be out a while longer. He has a slight tear in his calf and will be out for a few weeks.
“Julian Bennett missed last night’s match as a precaution. He was feeling his hamstring a little bit.”
Burley also revealed he will know whether Alan Lee will be joining Huddersfield Town by the end of the day.
The big striker has been in Yorkshire this week discussing terms with the League One club after Palace accepted an offer believed to be in the region of £350,000.
“We should know one way or the other by the close of play today,” said Burley. “If Alan does leave then that is an area we will try and look to strengthen before the transfer window closes.”

“According to a website, jonathan zedina a french defender who plays for juventus will sign for palace today or tomorrow.
Any defender coming in has got to be better than that useless liabilty claude davis.
That is the good thing about this site you hear rumours about players joining the palace & you tell your fellow fans & then you get luis 4-6-0 just repeating what george burley has just told us, that is the problem with luis 4-6-0 he just cannot think for himself.”
