Palace legends together again for charity game against Addicks
PLAYERS and managers from yesteryear will meet at Warlingham Sports Club on Sunday for a special fundraising match between Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic legends.
A host of former players from both sides have committed to the event, which will see the likes of Chris Coleman, Richard Shaw and Steve Kember don an Eagles shirt once again.
Former Palace manager Steve Coppell is also due to attend alongside Simon Rodger and Eric Young, among many others from the club's glorious past. The match will kick off at 2.30pm, with other activities including a manager's masters five-a-side, a fireman's car wash and a Soccer AM style crossbar challenge at half time.
There will also be the chance to meet the players, while there will be a bar, beer and Pimm's tents, a bouncy castle and live music, among other things.

“I wonder if the `Leg-End` from the Village of Henfield, will be at Warlingham on Sunday, or does that area bring back bad memories of when he was a patient at Warlingham Park Mental Instituition, after escaping from Cane Hill?”
