Parish denies rumours that starlet is set for West Ham move
CRYSTAL Palace co-chairman, Steve Parish, has quashed speculation that Wilfried Zaha is on the verge of joining West Ham United.
The 19-year-old, who was the subject of a £7m bid by Bolton Wanderers in January, is a reported target for several Premier League clubs this summer.
And rumours circulated on social networking website Twitter this week that the Eagles star was close to signing for the Upton Park outfit.
But Parish used Twitter to refute the claims in a message to talkSPORT's Ian Abrahams.

Parish tweeted: "@Moose_talkSPORT @WHUFC_News Ian we haven't had any contact from West Ham actually ever about anything. Hope that clears things up."
Parish also told the Croydon Advertiser this week that it was "amazing" how inaccurate some of the stories in the media are.
He said: "The rumour mill is going overtime at the moment.
"It is doing that on some of our players and I know nothing is happening. It is amazing how inaccurate they are sometimes and what guess work can go on."
Parish added that the transfer market was quiet at the moment, which he put down to the ongoing Euro 2012 tournament.
