A DRUG user has admitted being in possession of cocaine and cannabis at a South Norwood pub.

Rory Carr, 48, was found with the drugs at The Duke of Clarence, in Portland Road, on March 5.

The pub was raided that evening by officers and had its licence revoked.

Carr, of Framlingham Crescent, Bromley, admitted one charge of possessing a class A drug and three charges of possessing a class B drug.

He appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court last Wednesday and was given a 12-month community order which requires him to attend a drug rehabilitation programme for six months.

Carr received a 12-month supervision order, was ordered to pay costs of £85 and the drugs were destroyed.
