THERE was disappointment on Wednesday night for six Croydon dancers on Britain's Got Talent.

Dance group Peridot suffered heartbreak after getting knocked out at the semi-final stage.

The nine-strong group includes Eugene Drummond, 27, Simon Lee, 22, Daniel Brown, 25, Harryson Parkes, 22, Nicholas Stephen, 22 and Daryll Robinson, 22, all from Thornton Heath.

They proved popular with the public, making the vote-off with singing accountant Christopher Stone, but judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan opted to send Mr Stone through.

Eugene said: "People are saying we should have gone through. A lot are saying we shouldn't have even got to the judge-off stage."
