PROUD: Norbury Manor head David Sands and pupils
Ofsted inspectors praised the school for turning its pupils into "articulate young women".
David Sands, who has been head teacher at the school since September 2008, said: "This is great news for the school, particularly as most people recognise they (Ofsted) have raised the bar.
"The inspector noted that behaviour, attendance and punctuality had improved and all were judged outstanding, which is superb."
