Sears returns to West Ham
ON LOAN striker Freddie Sears has returned to West Ham.
The young forward ended his spell at Selhurst Park after Monday's 0-0 draw at Swansea's Liberty Stadium.

Freddie Sears has gone back to West Ham
Sears was signed on a season long deal in the summer, but has been recalled early as Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola is struggling with an injury crisis in his front line.
The 20-year-old failed to find the net during his five month stint at Palace but manager Neil Warnock said that he was still sad to see him go.
"He's been a really good lad to have around the place and he has worked very hard for us," said the Eagles boss. "Obviously we would have liked to have had a few more goals but it just hasn't worked out for him."

“Don`t want to sound like the grim reaper but just the sun & it said a player who asked not to be named said the there are all sorts of rumours at the club & we may be forced into administration, hopefully these are just rumours & paper talk, but god forbid we cannot sell our best players & go into administration can we?”

“Well it would nice to see how far Moses & Clynne go in the game, because they are definetley 2 of best youngsters we`ve produced for a long time, but Peter, you mentioned Watson, well at Palace he was what he is now a good championship player, Routledge, it`s definetley attitude with him & Soares is he still at Stoke?
Peter, so really our academy is basically producing good championship players but hopefully Moses & Clynne will change that trend.
Peter, how about if Watson had buried that penalty at Ashton Gate, maybe the Players & Staff might have got paid on time & maybe even got a christmas bonus off the 1 & only Saint Simon.
If L0uis ever does get himself down to Selhurst Park, if he comes next month, he should bring his boots because he might get a game.

“Peter,again I agree with you.
And Lee,the only reason I said Pinney and Wright might be important is the current climate, the possible need to sell and unable to buy,at present,it was necessary to loan them out in case of emergency.”

“Happy New Year everyone.
Lofty, what about Southgate and Swindlehurst and also Hunt. With Him, when he was at Palace he didn't make it but he went down the lower leagues and came through that way.
Lee, I get your point but since the academy started, the facilities have improved vastly so that the youngsters can progress and year on year it gets better but at the end of the day it is up to the individual to progress.
The players that Luis talks about, in warnock's opinion, they are not yet ready for the first team but with Moses, Clyne and Scannell they were deemed ready. Moses and Clyne have natural talent but Scannel hasn't as much but he is a tryer and works hard for the team.
Watson and Soares are not in the same league, all to often they went missing in games, that's why we were embarrassed in m/f a lot of the time. How many times did Soares miss getting on the end of a ball because he could not keep up with up play. As for Routledge, he was just a cocky little s... who thought he could do better but we all know how that went.
How many players have left Palace and went on to do well ? Not many.”

“Lee
I think I know where your coming from, Palace supporters talk about their youngsters quite a lot. Routledge, Soares, Watson spring to mind but where are they now??.How many of Palace's so called wonderful Kids have made it 'big time' No doubt I shall be corrected, but the last one was Kenny Sansom. Have I missed any?”

“L0uis,
You certainly give us all the breaking news about our youngsters going out on loan & coming back & how good it will be when they come back, yes it is good 2 send the youngsters out on loan for experience, but L0uis, you tell me what good youngsters at Palace over the last few years have gone out on loan & progressed at Palace?
Routledge, Soares, Watson, Clynne & Moses are the best we have produced in the last few years & none of those went out on loan did they? They started in the side at a young age & stayed there(well Clynne should`ve stayed in the side but Uncle Neil likes Butterfeld), Lee Hills as had a couple of loan spells away because of injuries & Clint Hill claiming the left back place & hopefully Hills will progress at Palace.
L0uis, i`m not being negative but if Pinney & Wright are good young players that we can use as you say in the coming months, why didn`t warnock use them before like he has done with Moses, Scannell, D`biaye, Sears, Clynne,Hills & send them to Woking & why haven`t they been in the squad for us?”

“The return of Nathaniel Pinney and Matt Wright from their loans at Woking could also be of use in the coming months.”
