Seven subs a poser – boss
THE decision to reintroduce seven substitutes in the Football League has prompted a mixed reaction from the Eagles manager, Dougie Freedman.
It was recently announced that club chairmen had backed a proposal to reintroduce seven substitutes in the Football League from the start of the new campaign, with clubs having only been able to name five players on the bench last season.
And while Freedman welcomed the move from a football perspective, he questioned the financial implication of the move.
He said: "I am still trying to scratch my head about this.
